Help our Garden this summer

posted Jun 13, 2017, 9:23 AM by Web Lowell   [ updated Aug 21, 2017, 10:04 PM ]

So, I tried to share a calendar with families to take sign up and take turns taking care of the garden this summer. It didn't work, but Key Zone and our rainy weather have done a wonderful job.

We can still use some help weeding and watering of the garden beds until Fall harvest.  (Ask staff in the building for key to the water hose Mon - Fri only)

We need your help to upkeep our Lowell Garden

Families can sign up for Sun. to Tues. or Thurs. to Sat. to care for the Lowell Garden.

Book Fair at Barnes and Noble

posted Jun 9, 2017, 1:00 PM by Web Lowell

Barnes & Noble and the Rotary Club of Duluth would like to hold a Book Fair at Barnes & Noble on June 23rd. The Book Fair allows 10% of all purchases made that day to be donated to Lowell as a gift card for more books. Our club will purchase the $750 worth of books for Lowell on that day to give you $75 to spend on more books.  This should allow your library to add at least a few more books beyond our donation! Please let me know if you have any questions.

So, Lowell families and friends, please come to Barnes &Noble on June 23rd and support our Lowell Library.
